Atlantic Championships
The 2012 Altantic Championships will be the inaugural event with the plan to have it hosted bi-annually. It will be designed to bring together the athletes of the Atlantic Provinces, and some beyond, for a fun, friendly high-energy atmosphere competition.
The goal of the Atlantic Halfpipe Championships is to re-create the style of Halfpipe that was provided for the Canada Winter Games. Athletes who participate in the event will get 1-2 practice days with 1 full competition day run during daylight hours, post practice barbeque the night before the competition day to provide the athletes and coaches a chance to socialize with one another in a relaxed-fun environment. There is even a possibility of a band playing onsite!
